The Truth Is Between Us
It was argued a Universal Truth does not exist because
Reality is something within each of us and is basically the
same thing as Perception. I agree that in each of us there
is a Personal Perception->Reality->Truth. We each have our
own perception of a situation and therefore have our own
Personal Reality->Truth. But, I also contend there is a
Universal Reality->Truth which exists outside of us and does
NOT involve Personal Perception (except from the point of
the Divine--if such a thing exists).
Meaning: one cannot entirely perceive Universal Reality
(because I cannot see things from every person's
perspective) and therefore cannot know the Universal Truth.
However, that does not mean Universal Reality/Truth does
not exist. One can have a better understanding of all that
is Universal by learning the Personal Perception of others.
By doing so, one steps closer to Universal Perception->
Reality->Truth. If the Divine exists, it would be able to
perceive all from every living thing's viewpoint
(omniscience). This would allow the Divine to perceive
Universal Truth.
Perhaps Universal Truth is the Divine. <shrug>
